Actor Boatman Bait Boat
Up to 5 hours on the slow setting, dual hoppers, class 3 wave resistance. A solid workhorse for rivers, dams, and lakes.
The battery life is up to 5 hours with the 10ah battery when used on slow speed setting. You can fit a 5ah battery to boats sold with a 10ah battery. The single-handed remote allows you to hold your rod while taking the line out in the boat, which is handy for feeling the lead down. There are two hoppers, a centre and a rear. These boats take the Mark 4 battery which also gives you the option to charge the remote control or even your mobile phone (USB lead needs to be purchased separately).
The Mark 4i is screwed together rather than glued, which makes it easier to service in the future (only to be opened by our authorised repairer during the warranty period). The i stands for improved. We have added an external power switch, side marker lights, and the rear lights stay on constantly for improved night-time visibility.
The Actor Boatman reaches up to 500m on a 2.4GHz controller and is rated Class 3 wave resistance for river and lake use. Each of the two hoppers holds a combined 3.3 lbs of bait with independent release controls. Top speed is 70m per minute with an auto forward mode for hands-free runs. Running time on a full charge is around 2.5 hours and charging takes approximately 5 hours. A battery LED display with a low-power alert, front and rear lights, dual motors, and a lightweight 2.8 kg build complete the package.
Key Features
500m Range
The 2.4GHz controller reaches up to 500 metres, enough to work structure and channels well beyond casting distance on large lakes, rivers, and bays.
5-Hour Battery on Slow Speed
On the 10Ah battery at slow speed, the Actor Boatman runs for up to 5 hours, a full session without returning to shore. Standard running gives around 2.5 hours.
Dual Hoppers, Centre and Rear
Two separate bait chambers let you carry different baits or drop two spots on the same run. Combined capacity is 3.3 lbs (1.5 kg). One remote button releases each independently.
Class 3 Wave Resistance
Rated for rivers and lake conditions. Steady in moderate chop and holds its line cleanly even in light wind and current.
Single-Handed Remote
Hold your rod with one hand and run the boat with the other. The layout lets you feel the lead settle while the boat is still out, which is useful for fishing deep drops.
Mark 4i Build Quality
Screwed together rather than glued for easier servicing. External power switch, side marker lights, and constant-on rear lights improve visibility and usability at dusk and after dark.
USB Power Bank Function
The Mark 4 battery doubles as a power bank. Charge your remote control or mobile phone from the boat battery via USB (lead sold separately).
