Actor Boatman Bait Boat

$1,200.00 AUD

The battery life is up to 5 hours with the 10ah battery when used on slow speed setting. You can fit a 5ah battery to boats sold with a 10ah battery. The single-handed remote allows you to hold your rod while taking the line out in the boat, which is handy for feeling the lead down. There are two hoppers, a centre and a rear. These boats take the Mark 4 battery which also gives you the option to charge the remote control or even your mobile phone (USB lead needs to be purchased separately).

The Mark 4i is screwed together rather than glued, which makes it easier to service in the future (only to be opened by our authorised repairer during the 12-month warranty period). The i stands for improved — we have added an external power switch, side marker lights, and the rear lights stay on constantly for improved night-time visibility.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the battery last?
Up to 5 hours on the 10Ah battery when used on the slow speed setting, or around 2.5 hours of standard running on a full charge. Charging time is roughly 5 hours.
What's the range on the Actor Boatman?
Up to 500 metres with the 2.4GHz controller. Most users find 300 to 400 metres is the comfortable working range in real conditions.
Can I use it in saltwater or only freshwater?
The Actor Boatman is rated class 3 wave resistance and is built for rivers and lakes. It's not designed for surf or open ocean use. For beach and saltwater work, look at the Joysway Fishing Surfer instead.
Why two hoppers?
The centre and rear hoppers let you drop bait in two separate spots on the same run, or carry two different baits at once. Combined hopper capacity is around 3.3 lbs.
What does the 'i' in Mark 4i mean?
It stands for improved. The Mark 4i is screwed together rather than glued, which makes it easier to service down the track. It also adds an external power switch, side marker lights, and constant rear lights for night-time visibility.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, a 12-month manufacturer warranty applies. The boat is only to be opened by our authorised repairer during the warranty period. See /returns for full details.
